| Typically, this process
would include: |
| |
• |
An initial briefing, face-to-face
wherever possible. This enables
us to gain an in-depth understanding not only of the
vacancy or vacancies to be filled but also of your organisation’s
culture and goals. Naturally, our aim is to build up
a lasting relationship in which such understanding becomes
‘second nature’. |
| |
• |
The production of a job specification
designed for external
consumption, which describes your organisation, the
nature
of the opportunity and the ideal candidate profile.
This would be
agreed with you and then used as a working document. |
| |
• |
The creation of a shortlist of prospective
candidates. These names would be derived from our own
internal sources, including relevant industry contacts
established as a result of work which we have already
carried out in the field, as well as from a tightly
targeted advertising campaign where necessary to “broaden
the net”. We have the media expertise and contacts
to ensure the most effective and economical insertions
in publications throughout the world. We may also recommend
executive search in certain cases to identify and approach
individuals within target companies who possess the
requisite skill sets and experience. |
| |
• |
We would make frequent contact with yourselves
in order to exchange ideas, information and market knowledge
that would enable us to feedback information that would
be useful to you in a broader sense. |
| |
• |
We would conduct extensive discussions
and interviews with prospective candidates in order
to verify their qualifications and determine their level
of interest. We would also make sure that each candidate
submitted is as well briefed as possible to make your
initial meeting worthwhile. We further verify our views
by taking informal references from past colleagues,
as appropriate. |
| |
• |
We would then arrange for you to meet
the shortlisted candidates, providing immediate and
detailed feedback on each interview, and offering guidance
as to the best way of handling the outcome. |
| |
• |
Once a candidate has been selected, we
would work with you to negotiate an acceptable offer.
We would naturally recommend that any offer be made
subject to references. |
